It is in those fleeting moments, those in between times, where all of the wonder, love, awe and tenderness lives.  I am a freelance second shooter for wedding videographers and I find filming weddings totally enchanting for this precise reason.

 

A couple's wedding day is a 15 hour window into their lives.  It is one of their most enlivened days, funnelling fascinating stories, fantastic food and fun frolics all into one occasion.  There is also a lot of honour there, which I wish I would see between people more often in everyday life. Blink and you miss it, so I am there behind the lens to capture this vibrant, jubilant and tender energy, preserved in film, with care, forevermore.
